The Pittsburgh Center for Complementary Health and Healing was founded by Nikki Remic Bannon. Nikki grew up just outside of Pittsburgh and always felt a strong connection to helping others. She had a deep sense of energy and intuition from the time she was a child, and began studying hands on bodywork at the age of 14. While it seemed fun and exciting at the time, it wasn't until a life threatening experience with undiagnosed Crohn's Disease that she learned first hand the deep value of these types of complementary services. During this experience Nikki says she had a lucid moment of choosing to live and aligning with the life's purpose of helping the evolution of humanity. She feels that this business, and all those who work here have a shared connection and alignment with that purpose.
After her own experiences both with the limits of traditional medicine and the unlimited potential of human connection Nikki used her background and experience in massage therapy, energy healing, yoga and meditation to open the areas first wellness spa in 2005. She knew that while pampering is wonderful, it is the quality and intention behind a service that is what creates the most impactful experience.
With a desire to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard and met exactly where they are, a customized approach remains at the foundation of all of our services.
