As we approach the New Year, I invite you to consider your third chakra, the Manipura, and it's significance and magnitude. It is located between the solar plexus and naval, and is the core of our identity, willpower, personality and ego. It is the center of our self esteem, self discipline, and the warmth of our personality.
The energy of this chakra allows us to transform inertia into action and movement, to move forward in our lives, using our personal power in a balanced manner toward these goals. The message of the third chakra is that YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHOOSE!
We always have the option of making a better or a worse choice. I encourage you to take on or resume practices that move you in the direction of your highest, best....mind, body and spirit. You will encounter multiple modalities and opportunities to do just that here at PCCHH! I hope that you will attend the anniversary celebration 1-14-2017, and come and introduce yourself to me, I am preparing a special snack to honor your golden yellow Manipura and will have it with me at the Anniversary Party: Cauliflower Turmeric Flatbread! See the recipe below! You may also join me for a mini workshop about what Nutritional Counseling is and how it can positively impact your lifestyle at 3:30pm on January 14th. The workshop is complementary but space is limited so click here to sign up now.

Third Chakra Golden Superstar Snack:
Cauliflower Turmeric Flatbread
Ingredients:
2 cups raw riced cauliflower (using a food processor is easiest)
4 Eggs
1 cup combo almond meal/ground flax meal (I like about 3/4 cup almond, 1/4 cup flax)
3 tsp turmeric
sea or pink salt to taste
black pepper, to activate turmeric
fresh herbs: optional (snipped chives are yummy, or try cilantro/parsley/dill/basil/other favorite)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350, line a baking tray with parchment paper
Mix together and combine all ingredients in bowl with spoon
Spoon mixture onto parchment, spread with fingers into a rectangle, an even layer about 1/2 centimeter thick
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden
Once baked cool completely, slice and store in refrigerator for up to a week
